UNDERGROUND METAL MOSAICS
Stazione Università - Line 1 - Metropolitana di Napoli
Recently Stazione Università of new Line 1 in Metro Napoli, Italia, was inaugurated. Its about a new urban, modern and dynamic space, designed by famous Architect Karim Rashid and his team.
Most impressive accent in this new station are its futuristic look and its concept: a giant pinball machine. Its design is based on communication, knowledge and information society, in their most digital side. Pink, green, purple, yellow… acid colors accent this concept and achieve spectacular dynamic light, colors and movement effects.
Innovative 3D panels change their digitally printed drawings as people / as trains going by change their position relative to them. A futuristic and singular environment is achieved by combining them with LED lighting systems and Stainless Steel Mosaics by Tthe Inox in Color.
Metal Mosaics by The Inox in Color have been installed in curved ceilings and as wall claddings. They are easy-to-install material thanks to ceramic support of each single mosaic chip and thanks to meshed 300 x 300 mm. sized meshed mosaic pieces. That allows these materials to be installed exactly as easy as any traditional mosaic piece.
Karim Rashid chose for this project BIG SQUARE model by The Inox in Color, with 30 x 30 mm. sized mosaic chips, non-colored stainless steel with Hariline surface finishing.
Right choice of materials has made Stazione Universitá in Naples probably most singular and futuristic Train/Metro station in Europe.

Famous Luxury Company Escada recently renewed its Headquarters and Showroom in Munich, Germany. A space where to launch its new collections, to attend their customers and distributors organising there events related with Escada luxury brand.
Aim of Architects Bureau Carbondale and local architect Jan Hehenberger in new design was to achieve full harmony between space and Escada products, creating an environment that could match the required exclusivity image.
Brass colored stainless steel by The Inox in Color, was selected to definitively contribute to this object. Material in three different surface polishing (Super Mirror #8, Hairline and Bead Blasted) were applied in vertical stripes combination, always in Brass color. It results in a spectacular and original visual effect, joining luxury with sobriety accents.
PVD coloring processes by The Inox in Color warrant long-time color stability and fit highest quality requirements in singular projects like Escada Headquarters.
New Escada Headquarters impress anyone that visits them. They are an accurate reflection of brand image and spirit. That is why Escada decided that similar materials by The Inox in Color were to be applied also in all its new boutiques, starting with complete refurbishment of its Flagship in central Maximilianstraße in Munich.
