MANDARIN ORIENTAL HOTEL, BARCELONA – GOLDEN ACCENT
Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Barcelona, has become newest architectural attraction in famous Passeig de Gràcia in Barcelona. Its historical building has been adapted and renewed by Architects Carlos Ferrater and Juan Trias de Bes.
Interiors of Mandarin Oriental have been designed by Architect Patricia Urquiola in a mix of contemporary modern style and traditional oriental accents. It achieves an elegant atmosphere of lines and colors with a delicate sensuality.
A floating walkway overlooking the lighted patio leads to main hall. Interiors of the Hotel offer mainly soft white and cream color tones, contrasted with some luxury Golden accents. Application of most innovative materials, mix of textures, overlapping shades… result in a relaxing and amazing environment.
Among above mentioned materials, (Ti) Gold colored, Hairline finished stainless steel by The Inox in Color®, was applied in elevators cabs and elevators halls, in all floors of Mandarin Oriental. It provides interiors with a unique accent of luxury and elegance.
Colored stainless steel sheets were also processed with NSP Nanotechnological Antifingerprints process, exclusive by The Inox in Color ®. It is about application of Nanotechnology to protect metallic surfaces against fingerprints and any other contamination. It allows to have a firm and lasting protection of decorative surface keeping always at sight nobility and beauty of colored stainless steel. Cleaning and maintenance costs are consequently drastically reduced with NSP Nanotechnological Antifingerprints process.
(Ti) Gold colored stainless steel is available in a wide range of surface finishings.
